We decided to do a double session in downtown Battle Creek and it turned out great.  These two gorgeous girls are my Boutique Models for Lakeview High School and they did an great  job!  Thank you Allie and Tori you girls look amazing!!!

This little guy was hands down the most sleepy, sweet little newborn I have ever photographed.  I don’t think we could have woke him up even if we wanted to (;  I took so many images, I just had too post a few tonight.  If you love his little hat and diaper cover attire let me know and I can pass the details along … the secret is he has a very talented Grandma who just whipped this up this am!  It was a fun afternoon… enjoy.

I’m loving the furniture, the light, the wall art…  and this  gorgeous little girl let us do whatever we wanted, hooray! I just had to include their gorgeous wall art display, it is so dramatic but simple.    This layout always works well, it’s one of my favorites.  It was a great day, what more can I say…  I was so thrilled to meet the latest addition to this special family.    You will definitely have your hands full for a while, but it will be so worth it.   More to come soon…

I had so much fun seeing how these two little regulars of mine have grown, they are so adorable!  This is one of the things I love the most about my job.  You wouldn’t know it now, but this sweet little girl is the featured model on my opening page with the damask background that everyone always asks about.  It’s amazing what a year can do…

I just received my samples of a new product that I am excited to offer for the fall!  Aluminum mounts are so gorgeous, they sort of have a vintage, classic feel that is so fresh.  They are going to be priced similar to the float mounts that I all ready offer, and they too come ready to hang.  I am a huge fan of a simple display that really showcases your portraits as art, and aluminum mounts are a beautiful example of that.  They are also really light weight (so you don’t have to worry about using the right mount), but since the image is actually printed on metal they will never warp.  Check out my breakfast nook wall display below… I already can’t stop looking at it!

I was so lucky to get the chance to photograph such a sweet and sleepy little one.   Isn’t he gorgeous?  And it just so happens that he has arrived in a family that is amazing. Becca is a softball all-star from Portage High School and gorgeous too.  Who knew, the modern softball athlete can be tough and pretty. ; )  Storm clouds loomed above us all evening, but the drama of the gray sky turned out to be our best asset.  I love the  style and sophistication of this shoot!  Enjoy your sneak peek…
